I was thinking about that same thing. I just didn't know or read up on the details about it too much. I figured since he was hired as Dooku's body guard and heavily assisted the Separatists by siding with the droids, geonosians, Dooku, and making a Clone army while knowing about Order 66 he deserved the tag, but it makes sense if not. Some synergy with Dooku would be cool which was why I included it.
