I had a battle where IG90 was left alone against a temple guard and it probably carried on for around 2 minutes on auto until IG90 was defeated.
The suggestion that the battle could last 4 hrs without a character being defeated is very far removed from my experience of the game mode.
Plus, anyone letting a battle carry on for that long has only got themselves to blame.

That's why I was asking for video proof. I've never heard anyone claim before that each battle took more than a couple minutes max
It was a thing early on. Ahnald had left a stream overnight with his team doing nil damage to the boss and not dying themselves.
As I understand it, this was happening because of the damage cap mechanic, which was quickly removed.
