Just unlocked Rex's Ship & need some advice

I just recently unlocked his ship myself, at the same time I unlocked slave 1 so all my resources went there first. After the jedi assult I was able to level up rexs ship, he's a little low powered but I threw him in since my 5's and clone sarg are pretty decent, rexs ship I mainly use to give the others protection every time it comes up and it's helped me out quite a bit.
