Kanan Jarrus... Jedi team new hope?

One of the biggest weakness about jedi teams is the lack of taunt in their tanks.

Now we have kanana, and he have a taunt with a cleanse, an auto cleanse with a protection boost, counter chance with a heal every time he take a debuff (25% of his life!!!!!)

Kanan is the chosen one? Jedi StHan?

Im working on a jedi team with ZQGJ, Aayla, Yoda, JKA and ahsoka. This is the standard configuration without GK (i dont own him yet). Maybe i dont need Ahsoka now and i can go with Kanan, and with QGJ speed he can taunt very fast?!

What do you think guys?

  • I don't see him being very useful under qgj. However, I do see him as useful (outside of Phoenix squad) with IGD. 100% counters with offense down and built in heals could be fun. His low speed could possibly be helpful once he can taunt to keep it going longer (taunts for 2 of his turns). I would mod him for health not protection to take advantage of his debuff healing.

    That being said, he is weak to buff immunity, stun and ability block (then again, who isn't!).

    Add in Nihilus and Boba...

    Kannan starts at 95 speed. He's not going to be doing anything.

    Maul, Nihilus, EP, B2, Baze will destroy any jedi team

    First turn, everyone gets foresight, baze gains 25% TM.

    Then Yoda does tenacity up, baze gains 50% putting him at 100%

    Baze AoE dispell, misses, B2 goes to 100%

    B2 AoE dispell, inflict some buff immunity, EP goes mass stun, Maul goes Daze, Nihilus goes drain force

  • As already said - his speed makes him an absolute no-go.

    Speed rules the game so investing in a character with such low speed is a complete waste of time. You won't get chance to use him more than once in a fight.

    Did they change IGD? It used to add 35% chance which was why Aayla was really good with him as she gains 100% counter chance.

    Counter chance is additive (look at the mechanics on Swgoh.gg)

    I do have similar teams, i'm 10 zeta left to complete yoda zeta battle mediation. Zarriss and zqgj are already done. I have ahsoka tano instead of secura. Without yoda i mostly clear a very strong zaul team that include gk.

    Good to know. And true, with IGD lead, it's maybe better.
