So the show isnt over yet... but currently we have two plot holes.
1. Leah meets ben, knows hes a jedi whos friends with her dad... and then sends him a message on an r2 unit where she talks about he and her father worked together in the clone wars... never mentioned that time the guy also saved her life with floating powers and broke her out of the cell the nappers put her in.
2. Grand Inquistor is seemingly killed by 3rd sister... but Kannon kills him later in season 1 of Rebels.
Feels like an overreaction to be talking about plot holes already when there's still four more episodes to go.
Again i said "the show isnt over yet". That means they may deal with it. Heck, GI that just got stabbed may not be GI from rebels. Heads not the right shape anyway. Lol."FerociousPanda;c-2363321" wrote:
As for the Leia message, I wouldn't really call that a plot hole. Since she's going to ask Kenobi to come out of hiding to help the Rebellion fight it makes sense to reference the war he previously fought in. Stormtroopers were also actively looking for her so it's not like she had the time to record that long of a message
She records a whole message for him that ben plays for luke."Leia Organa" wrote:
General Kenobi. Years ago you served my father in the Clone Wars. Now he begs you to help him in his struggle against the Empire. I regret that I am unable to present my father's request to you in person, but my ship has fallen under attack, and I'm afraid my mission to bring you to Alderaan has failed. I have placed information vital to the survival of the Rebellion into the memory systems of this R2 unit. My father will know how to retrieve it. You must see this droid safely delivered to him on Alderaan. This is our most desperate hour. Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.
Its not a quick message, she had time to say "Years ago you served my father in the Clone Wars and you saved my life when i was a child. Now we need your help in the struggle against the Empire".
Its not like this "adventure" wouldnt be burned into her brain. He floated her down from a fall, hes a jedi... which are so rare they fall into legend and myth... and hes someone who's saved her life. She has a personal connection to him that is missed in her speech to R2.- LordDirtNew TravelerPeople within Disney don’t seem to watch the older stuff to make sure things make sense. I think we can all agree on that.

disagree - perfidius44Rising NewcomerUnpopular opinion: i don’t care if it doesn’t match every little details in an old movie if it allows the writers to write good TV. And it was good TV.
- So far I’m enjoying it, I want to see how it plays out but I’m really not liking Reva and I really didn’t like how they just stabbed the GI it pulls any hint of threat away from him and really just feels like a bait and switch for the purpose of a bait and switch. Really not a fan of her knowing who Vader is since that was the most closely guarded secret in the Empire, Anakin Skywalker hero of the republic was killed during Order 66 and anyone who found out the connection was killed. Not even Tarkin or Thrawn actually knew they only guessed, so for this random inquisitor to know this highly sensitive information is just really weird. I know people are saying that she’s the youngling from the beginning of episode 1 and that she most likely sees Anakin or hears him being addressed as Lord Vader that just feels like a big stretch to make.
- ScreeriderSeasoned ScoutIt's dumb that the Vader - Anakin connection is a secret. If anything, Palpatine should have broadcast that fact everywhere, to show how even some Jedi realized how awful the Jedi Order was and defected to the Empire, and were welcomed and some even given positions of responsibility.
- I like how they name a faction inquisitor. It was first mentioned in the rebel TV series with the appearance of the grand inquisitor.
Fun fact, inquisitor come from the word inquiry. Which means to find out information.
So I really hope they are not all admin staff waving around the light saber to scare some uncle Owen but actually fight with them. - NotRealUltraSeasoned Newcomer

The Jedi Order is dead why waste time running a smear campaign it’s not like the order will be running an election against Palpatine in 4 years "ShaggyB;c-2363556" wrote:

If it’s only a problem with one line (though I concede it’s one of Star Wars’ most famous), then I don’t think it should affect interesting storytelling. I know that not all Star Wats fans feel this way, but I’m willing to ignore a few inconsistencies for the sake of good storytelling/fun moments."Screerider;c-2363614" wrote:

The mystery of Darth Vader has always been essential to his effectiveness at creating fear, not just in universe, but for fans as well.
