So firstly is it possible to complete the kessel run rewards in the online store? I have never been able to reach the omicron reward since the event resets before I can get to the halfway point. I check in multiple times a day and do all the requirements but I just can't get to it. Also what is the redeem code thing in the online store? It never showed up before until recently and I'm curious as to what it's intended for.
You get progress not only for activities that you do, but also for cash you spend.
If you look in the store, you can see that everything that has a cash price also has a coaxium value. This means that If you spend money, you get coaxium, which moves you forward on the Kessel Run rewards.
For a while they were giving % discounts on buying from their store vs the Apple Store or other ways of purchasing. This was their initial way of encouraging engagement with the on-line store. Then they got rid of discounts (I think? Someone check me on that) and replaced those with the Kessel Run rewards.
So you're not supposed to finish it. Only significant spenders are supposed to finish it. We get a minor "thank you" for engaging, but the bigger rewards are for giving CG your $$.
