Stop complaining everybody. Yes it's stupid and no fun. It's purely RNG dependent. Just play it on auto several times. Like others mentioned before all depends wether Jocasta or Kelleran kill LV or not. My Appo is g12 without any good mods and finished all tiers available on Auto. Didn't even take so long.
Either you have ridiculous RNG or you lying I have done at least 15 battles on auto as soon as the rifle come out just quit bc she just merks whole team.
Buddy, ..... Never ever call me a liar again please. 🤣 I did Tier 1 in the first try, took 5 tries for tier 2 and about the same for tier 3. As long as Jocasta doesn't kill LV, absolutely nobody dies .....
So ya.... ridiculous RNG I have now done this battle more than 50x and she just goes straight for vader every time for me I had her in the yellow once and she cracked open that box and just killed them
The problem is that I’m stuck at 6*. I paid for the episode pass, and now I’m locked out of Appo shards.
I didn't say that it's easy on auto, nor that it's fun. The thing is it's less a waste of time and it's possible to di it that way. Since the event is purely RNG dependent you can't influence the outcome by playing manually. It's eather permanent bad luck with a very low chance of succeeding, the higher the tier is. My Appo is r7 in the meantime, equipped with best mods. So far I couldn't even get past Kelleran in Tier IV.....
Don't feel too bad about IV, even the whales with R9 Appo couldn't beat that yet
And everyone knows that everybody loves RNG events, so much fun..... hell even if i would finallt get it after the 100th time i would keep doing it for the hell of it.....
I personally think this event should not been released with one clone available... it just doesn't make sense to annoy players but i guess they can convince some people to buy the bundle this way who wouldn't have bought it otherwise...
Yeah, this is the kind of bad event that makes ppl hate CG.
If, for game balance purposes, you shouldn't be able to beat it with a maxed out 5-star toon (every gear and ability increase available at 5), then don't offer it to 5-star toon owners. Telling ppl to spend hours of their lives playing an event that is more frustrating than fun is just bad game design.
Deny players the shards the easy way: just don't allow them to be eligible for the event until their toons can beat it. No one would care that they aren't getting t2 or t3 rewards if there was a clear eligibility requirement that they didn't meet, bc they would know that the event is fair and that no one else with a comparable toon got those shards either. it's fair.
Right now, insanely lucky players will get more shards -- sometimes dramatically more -- than other players without actually investing more or playing smarter. Some players will feel frustrated by the unfairness and quit trying, and some players will play the event over and over -- they'll get the shards, but they'll resent the game designers. It's a bad idea. It's bad design.
I've done auto, I've done manual. After 20 tries , this piece of unadulterated trash heep of an event isn't worth it. Cg can take shards and stuff it some place unpleasant
In my case Jocasta just use basic attack instead of rifle toss at tier 2 (got appo to 5 stars today and spent around 10 mins on tries)
