kylo rework: scoundrel mod challenge now too hard

but your lvl 85 toons are maxed right? that would implicate there is never ever going to be a way to improve them right? which means there will never be a new lvl cap. since u will agree this is not going to be the case your definition of maxed is just as valid as mine. so just dont be nitpicking and understand that maxed toons at lvl 64 means there is no way for me to improve them at the moment as there is no way for you at lvl 85. deal?

That's flawed logic. You can increase your level, but everyone at level 85 cannot. A maxed toon is always defined as the maximum currently possible. I thought that was self evident.

Yea no........ maxed toons means that no one can increase them anymore not just you, so that means level 85 gear 11 and good mods. at your level you don't have maxed toons you can only say that you can't do anything else to them at this moment

You can't have maxed toons and only 20k power. I'm sorry, all due respect to your arguments, but the accepted parlance on these forums is that "maxed" currently means 7*, g11, regardless of level.

Anyway, to address your original question, do the older PvE events even use the new/reworked toons? I will check this challenge specifically later, but I seem to remember playing a PvE event with a Boba boss after his rework and it was the old version. Also, there are RGs that don't taunt, and TFPs that don't throw down AoE buff immunity. Also, even in the new Krennic events, Boba didn't gain his buff until after he killed someone, and Jyn didn't seem to revive.

So I don't know that these challenges are affected by the rework. Again, I'll try to check, but encounter five on these things is typically much harder than the other four. 20k power is nothing. Health challenge is way easier than the others so it doesn't matter if you used three of the same toons.

Ok, so I went in and checked it, and FOST does now taunt, so maybe the Kylo rework did get put in as well. It wouldn't let me attempt with fewer than five toons, so I put a non-leader in leader spot and tried to make as many stupid mistakes as possible. Still was beatable. Kylo didn't seem to hit very hard, and I tried to give him damage and dots to buff him up. FOST almost seemed to hit harder. And they are still sticking with the PvE convention of enemies not having protection, even at higher gear levels.

Just keep working on your scoundrels, have them at least g7, level up their abilities, give them good mods, and you'll beat it.
