Mk7 and Mk9 Kyros need to go into the daily gear challenges like some of the other older Mk 3 and 5 gear did, the grind is absolutely beyond a joke, you need SO MANY of them for every new character PLUS to get EVERY character from gear 12>13. Devs take note!

Kyros won’t become more available until there is a new more rare piece of gear that everyone needs. Bottle necks that force us to make choices on whom to gear are what allows for roster differentiation l. I am very tight with my kyros- not everyone gets them - that way there is something available for the characters I really want/need.
That's completely by design
Although I agree whole heartedly with you, Kyros will never have the tap opened up on them. Kyros , Omicrons, and to a extent Zetas, are CG's meal tickets, as people will drop cash on them it either buy Crystals to farm for them, hence why they were added to the added drop events , need to find a way to milk those players who already have the featured toons at 7*. Or people will straight up buy packs and bundles of them , when they turn up in the store.
The same with Droid Brains , which with a increase of toons at R9 needed for unlocks, would be greatly needed, and yes I know you can get them from the Duel of the fates monthly, if you all ready have 2 toons at R9 that is.
For all these to be made more assessable, CG would have to not only do R10 , but another set of gear levels after R10 .
It sucks , I know, if you can't afford to whale like a content creator , and you have a back log a mile long where you have to chose between putting your Kyros on the toons to unlock Executor or on a GL you just unlocked.
But CG will never change.
It is possible, like it was with mk3 carbs and stun guns if/when they release a new gear to take over the bottle neck, like what kyro did to the old bottle knecks.
As a day 1 player, I have more kyro than I can use right now and all my gear bottlenecks have been gone for some time now. So with that and all the complaints of kyro bottlenecks, I expect them to come out with some new gear part bottleneck.
