lol - seriously? First off, my son is 21 and an Electrical Engineering student at home on spring break. He can read just fine - and we have shared several drinks together in the past week. Ironically, it was he that suggest I share his arena droid dominance story (Lord knows I couldn't have remembered the dates he started) after he heard me laugh about the "droids never being meta" comments.

You are right about one thing though - the amount of time I spend on the forums trying to answer questions, help people out, share insights and correct misinformation probably is a little unhealthy - thanks for you concern. I'll keep an eye on that. ;)

lol - yes, that's exactly how it happened. If you would like to have an intelligent conversation about the game, feel free to start a new thread or participate in the hundreds that already exist on a number of game topics. If you want to simply continue your ad hominem attacks, I guess you can do that as well - but that would be an unhealthy obsession with me - and likely just feed my over-inflated sense of self-importance.

Just because I disagree with a fellow poster about metas or previous metas, and engage in some friendly banter, there is no need for you to interject yourself and make personal attacks and judgements.

That said, droids weren't top. Old Ben, Dooku, Rey, sure. Droids have been solid for a long time, but never the best.

I would think the devs would be trying to avoid there being only "one" meta to win, at least as much as they can. But, it seems that the opposite is the case. They just change which "one" is on top because... money.

Most people don't run an optimal zMaul team. Top 3 Maul teams in my shard? I can't beat them anymore. Even the ones I can are largely based on RNG.

This is really quite true. In my shard there are a bunch of Zauls at the very top. Then a bunch of rex leads and then a bunch more Zauls below those rex leads. The ones under the rex leads are just not good enough to face off against the one as the top. I personally just rearranged some mods to more easily beat the Rex leads on my shard so Maul is going first, but it slows down my progress against the other Zaul teams, which is fine as the ones with Sith Assassin are going before me anyways, and I can usually get back on my feet after they go first.
