Lol... They weren't cheating. They got a bug which they exploited. No different from the timezone issue allowing people to do credit heist twice a few weeks back. It was an error and some people abused it.
It isn't like the organised exploit people are currently recruiting for to get more rewards. That requires people to go out of their way to abuse, the bug was something which just landed on peoples accounts after completing a raid.
This thread is old news, interesting that someone would drag it up to contrast with alt farming. The sentiment still stands though, if you suspect someone is cheating or abusing an exploit. Report them to @CG_LucifersDaddy
