Totally agree here. Tossing Baze, Chirrut, Wedge, and Biggs onto a team together allows for an incredible number of "passively active" abilities at once. You load into the battle with Wedge lead and you have heal over time on receiving crit, heal at start of turn, speed boost, offense boost, tm gain and hp gain on crit. 6 leader abilities for the price of one!
I'm not necessarily against it - makes for some better mixing and matching - and could make some guys more valuable however it definitely feels like a major shift in character design that almost should warrant a large release (like ships) so this "new style" of play is fully supported and not only present on one squad/4 toons. There should probably be at least one toon, if not 2, designed for most of the factions that goes down this "leader ability packaged into my unique passive" road.
