That's as it should be, IMO. Anyone who's enough of a game-changer that you need to use him to remain competitive is imbalanced.
It would be cool if instead of nerfing him, they fixed dispellers and provided new abilities in the new characters to counter taunts. The increasing prevalence of buffers and taunters is why I keep leveling up Asajj but they NEED TO FIX HER SO SHE WORKS! :) It's bad enough that she's slow as heck.
