The best offensive fleet is also the best defensive fleet (Leviathan) and Squad Arena doesn't matter unless you really really really want those tokens for some unfathomable reason. The only thing they're good for is buying some shards to convert into SSC, unless you have a tiny roster and you're still farming shards for the toons available for those tokens.
Making the last team used the defense is fine.
