Allow me to ask a silly question which should be reasonable as I'm prone to making silly statements. Is it reasonable to assume that someone who has farmed JTR is likely to also have one or more quality/desirable teams? I mean if you have JTR you have BB8 which means you have FO which isn't usually the first squad someone builds up. Your JTR team probably has R2 on it, and it's been a while, but trying to remember what you needed for R2. Possibly rebels. FO with a KRU lead is not bad in HSR. You could argue that if someone farmed vets they may not have KRU which is newed in cantina since they focused on vets. But I digress. Of the people that have JTR in your guild how many also have at least one other strong component if not two that may include Chex, IT, Pheonix, or NS?
It doesn't really prove a point for me, but just curious. And I can appreciate the comment on JTR not being end all, but Phase 1 seems like a pretty big hump that is easiest to overcome with JTR. No idea the time/effort to do without JTR versus with, but from what I've been reading JTR makes a serious impact on that Phase. Is it such an impact that if you only had 5 JTRs in your guild it really wouldn't be worth while attempting Heroic. Whereas other strong teams are important, but there's a little more versatility in the other Phases like it doens't have to be Chex mix for Part 3. I hope that makes sense. I get 50 JTR teams doesn't matter because there;'s only so much damage you can do in Part 1, but if you don't have many/any JTR teams you're not going to get far easily in Phase 1 as opposed to some flexibility on team structure in other phases.
Again hence my originating post on the prevalence of JTR in a guild maybe affecting their overall enjoyment of the raid itself. Reading through 9 pages of the Sith Feedback thread now people are lighting it up with extra bashing to Part 1 which seems mitigated more with JTR.
