I also work in a STEM field with a degree in Physics (only undergrad however so take everything I say with a grain of salt. I never claim to be too bright) and I'm old enough to remember a time well before the internet when everyone didn't feel the need to bring logic into an opinion conversation. I'm not listing facts here. I'm listing my opinion and as ill informed as it may seem it is in fact my opinion. You're spending the time to read it so joke's on you.
Feelings are not necessarily logical. No feelings are invalid. Opinions are how feelings, data, and logic intersect to draw a qualitative conclusion. Logic has always had a place in opinions. And folks have always had opinions about other peoples' opinions. They've never been sacrosanct.
Voicing your frustrations about the veteran farm? Perfectly fine.
Linking that to the increased frustrations of how she ties into the Nihilus fight? Perfectly fine.
Channeling your frustrations into accusations that the devs are changing the odds behind the screen just to kitten with you on anecdotal evidence that you
know damn well ain't statistically significant? That ain't kosher.

Thats not what you posted though.
How does it differ from what I posted. Compared her to CLS in arena. She had 2 weeks tops in arena top 20. Soon after this, STR was released & JTR is STILL 1 of 4 teams that do decent dmg... and still superior dmg in the 2 easier phases.
Arguing this is ... ... just... wow.
My shard routinely has a JTR team at number 1. At the moment, it's three of her in the top 20, and 15 of her in the top 50.
A lot of the backlash against JTR was not that she wasn't good in the arena. It's that she wasn't the unstoppable meta-defining, gamebreaking god queen of the arena that CLS was when he came out. But she's still good, and strong, and entirely viable.unit who can fare well in the arena.
Yes, we have a Sith dominated meta right now. That's not because Sith are the most powerful arena faction (at least prior to Traya). They're good. They're very good. But more importantly to their popularity, they're
easy. Three of the characters were basically handed to the entire playerbase, one's a legendary gained with the first team most folks build, and one actually requires extended effort and planning. Given the choice between two powerful arena teams, yeah, most folks take the path of least resistance and run nightmare.
