Well I'm not sure how many more pages the Sith Raid Feedback thread will go on for, but if you are happy with the Sith Raid, how it's designed and the time versus reward mechanics, then I would say good for you. Being serious. Again I never wish an ill time on any one and glad someone is enjoying it to the fullest. That being said I think you'd be in the minority based on those willing to post in that thread.
You are accurate to say any long time player made the choice and sparing you from reading the rest of my posts I fully embrace that decision and accept responsibility for the same.
Your statement is that we chose to not run and jump is kind of funny. I mean it's not like prior to the raid release when she had her event(s) anyone said that in order to have a time effective, enjoyable or even possible completion of HSTR that you must have her (or a strong representation of her in your guild). If your insinuating that HSTR can be done without her or a low guild ownership of her then who am I to argue I guess, but it doens't seem to be the case.
The issue is that in order to jump this hurdle they said you have to have this pair of shoes. This exact pair of shoes. Yeah you need good shorts for part 2, but you can choose from these types and aren't limited to one and since i'm old school let's say that we throw in a good old wrist and headband combo but you can choose from any of these to make it work. But the shoes must be JTR brand.
So yeah. Prior to knowing that she'd be a requirement for HSTR I proactively chose not to farm her full well knowing what that might cause due to my omniscience. But here's the funny thing. Now that I actually do know I'm still not going to farm her. Because my money is CG changing the dynamic a bit so she is not the only reasonable option for heroic part one. I mean my next best option is a nice Thrawn lead, Magma, DT, JC and filler. Sure I'll get off a ton of shots due to MT's TM gain and Thrawn lead, but it's not anything like JTR.
To say it's a 15 inches away from the screen problem I'm not sure what you mean. That would be about 15 inches from my face still. I mean I guess you're trying to imply it's my fault or that you knew ahead of the raid being released that she'd be this integral. So while you sit there on your chair all high and mighty I'd suggest that a game mechanic that only has one answer when you have an entire stable of characters and options is more a game mechanic. If you say Pheonix were viable (an for obvious reason not, but just an example) as well as IT so there are 3 options in front of me and I say nah. I don't have them. Then yeah. That's me. I mean get off my butt and so something in the game.
