I didn't win it with the FO faction.
I won it with Mal, Hyena, and Vulture. The other toons could have been anything. I got credit for the FO feat, but those aren't the ships that beat the enemy.
And that's the problem. I would love it if GCs worked the way you say -- you have to beat it with the FF. But that's just not how it works.
I mean it is easy to win with a "gl" cap ship but the real challenge is to win with the FO fleet. So in my opinion it seems fine as it is.
