Even if you start second and use ultimate first, you still have high chance to finish in draw, it is all beautiful how you describe that battle, it is so easy for you huh? 

Enemy Mark of course will get in battle second, if he targets your sith fighter you probably (99%) are done, so don't defend devs for this stupid buff that was no need for!

As I said, I have yet to finish in a draw. YMMV, but I am not having any problems with mirrors. 

If only CG had a way to do thorough testing of these new additions to the game before they were actually released....

But, they aren't prioritizing quality, only quantity.  Quantity makes money, quality doesn't I guess.  So sayeth the accountants?

Absolute **bleep** tier update to leviathan. I wasn't even having issues beating Executors running punishing one before this update... So CG just fixing a non existent problem to create a huge headache for tons of players? sounds accurate 🤕

I have failed 4 times using this counter today. Once when my cap ship went first. It is extremely frustrating that a stupid change has made this match up so unpredictable.

I hate being negative, but this is an absolutely awful change, and should be undone. This is the worst fleet has ever been, and makes the game worse. 

Complete trash... end of game life finally.. Finish my crystals off and be done, no more $ from me...

The coin flip meta is not only punishing (unnecessarily) but super boring.

The “guaranteed” counter is awful, and times out more often than not.

It took me 12 battles to climb to first today. I was at 9 to start. 12 battles to win two. How is this anywhere in the realm as the “same win rate” as the Sith Fighter mirrors before the change?

I'll try that strategy today during my payout hour. Hopefully it doesn't end in a draw.

That aside, I don't think players are upset that they have to use a new starting line-up or get used to a new strategy, I think it's the issues that come with that specific strategy that is frustrating. In this case:

1. Time out. Like I said, I have yet to use that strategy myself, but the other day I nearly timed out after winning the initial coin-toss in a mirror match (Fury, Dagger, Bomber on both sides). Getting TenUp with Mark6 might be useful in delaying the enemy Ult, but even if you get to the Ult first, if you can't get past the Bomber if it is present, what's the point? Imagine how it would play out in GAC.
2. Fleet Arena. Whether you win, lose or draw with that line-up, you're still opening yourself up to getting pushed back by other players during that 5+ minute cooldown window or after the payout hour. I'm frustrated enough when I wake up and find myself pushed back to 15+ (even before the rework), I shudder to think how I'd react if I find myself in 25 or even lower. Without any tanks, it's especially easy pickings for Executors.

This doesn't really address the issue that the changes were suppose to fix. Dagger was buffed so that it could be used in the starting line up with Fury and the tank, but this new mirror team forces us to remove the tank. Plus, it was designed so that it could hold better against Executor and P1, which this new team won't do without a tank. Executors opening mass attack will beat dagger instantly, negating the new buffs. Not that is matters, since even if I did set Dagger, Fury and Tank to defense it can still be beaten by Executors with 3 star P1s.

Honestly, all that's happened is that we've swapped out 2 ships to create a weaker team defensively, forcing us to do another fight to set the proper defensive team, which is still weak to Executor. It's was just a lot of shuffling things around to end up right back where we were, but worse because mirror matches are now painful.

I really wish CG would switch it back. 

CG needs to fix this!    It is complete garbage.     The time outs are horrible and the whole thing is a massive disaster that keeps getting worse.
