Logged Out in Middle of Wat Mission, Related to iOS Hotfix?

We have a player in our guild that was logged out of his account in the middle of the Wat mission. He is on an iOS device. I'm wondering if this was caused by the hotfix that was pushed earlier today. I'm on iOS as well, and also had to restart when I went back into the game, but didn't think much of it at the time since I wasn't in the middle of anything. Did anyone else have this happen in the middle of the Wat mission? Given the timing, I'm just curious if the hotfix had something to do with it.
