Jesus. Some of us pay a lot to play this game. I dropped a vault or two to max my BH right before start. All of the posts about launching this on a weekend are so right. When has CG ever done the right thing? FML for being so addicted to this game.

All this about weekend launches.
The exhibition- which was stated explicitly to be a test run- was tied to the title update. The title update was a three-day process that occurred from Monday to Wednesday. Thursday was launch and signups. Friday was matchmaking and the first defense phase. Saturday was the first attack phase, when the critical error occurred. Had this exhibition continued, tomorrow would have also been a critical event, the first round transition. That is seven consecutive days of key events, with an eighth key event on day ten, the final resolution and payout.
Please tell me how you would fit this seven-day sequence of linked key events into a five-day work week with none of them falling on a weekend?
Let's say you choose to decouple the title update and exhibition. A move which would involve delays that this playerbase is not patient with no matter how much they say they hypothetically would be when moves to get prompt content encounters snags. Now, you have to place a seven-day exhibition with key events on days 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7 in a five day work week. The only way to do that is to launch on Tuesday. If they started on Tuesday, then the launch would still be three days out and they'd have no data. Because they launched Thursday, it crashed, they got data, and they're still ahead of a Tuesday launch.
Project management!
Further, this was explicitly stated to be a trial run. If you chose to spend a large number of resources on a trial run, that's on you. Not on CG.- NottaClone6 years agoSeasoned Scout

1 credit as a reparation is BULL crap for this technical difficulty.
Crazy how many things were screwed up on this beta-test... Oh wait I mean "exhibition" ?
But hey, I will take some free rewards for doing nothing! ? Just wish they would have made it more clear what this was really gonna be. "NottaClone;c-1894218" wrote:

You mean like when they said...

As you are aware, we are running two Exhibition events to ensure the feature is working as intended and to allow players to practice with the feature before engaging in the full Championships.
Testing is an explicit function of the exhibition."YaeVizsla;c-1894195" wrote:

Real project management would not accept failures of this scale for such a mature product. Real project manage.ent would clean house of poor performing resources.... just saying...- What are you all complaining about. It is all as intended.
https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/206828/the-exhibition-is-working-as-intended#latest - The only thing that surprises me is that people are still surprised by this. How many times has there not been a bug when a new feature went live large scale for the first time? That’s why they did an exhibition.

Wow, can't believe anyone is taking this stand. CG wants us to spend on the game. They put artificial time constraints on things to incentivize spending (which is in their rites). But when those time restraints are broken their needs to be someone held accountable.
I spend on the game, I didn't this time, because honestly I expected this. But for you to come here and say that someone who is spending their hard earned money on the game is to blame instead of the devs, testers, etc., is absurd.
And if I was CG, I would do something, because things like this are a bad precedent and we have a new TB around the corner that people want to spend on.
Hope it doesn't turn out like this one.
@Kyno his message should be removed as it clearly states that people should not spend on the game- As a software engineer I can't stand when almost every major feature in this game comes out with severe bugs that should have been caught by a robust testing process that clearly does not exist at CG.
umm, maybe this should get looked at too"IC3M4N;c-1894244" wrote:
