Here's an idea. Display drop rates and make them more favorable and people might actually happily buy the packs. Instead less people grudgingly buy them. I propose Somehing like this:

5 shards - 5%
10 shards - 50%
15 shards - 30%
20 shards - 5%
25 shards - 5%
30 shards 5%

And then I would spend some money. Currently the drop rate is 5 shards 99% and everything else a fraction of 1%
