LST Trap
"Excess shards" being preserved and only the shards for x star level made it sound for all the world like my stockpile of shards would be preserved when using the LST. I just got my gear12 last and used it on Hondo last night expecting my hoard of 125 shards could be used to get him to 5stars for raid and instead it used all of my own shards so the LST didn't benefit my shards at all which means I wasted 7500 episode currency buying shards that had I known the LST were going to steal them Id have not purchased the shards for characters I knew I was going to LST and would've probably done someone else or planned differently.
Seems very disingenuous to give something that says it progresses the character to a certain star and preserves your excess only to steal your shards and spend them for you effectively punishing you for having hoarded shards.
