He's making the point that these two characters, with their Omicrons, can solo a GL, SEE, with significantly less investment, and both characters are at tiers below a raid-exclusive character (Traya). Heck, BH and IT have been able to beat LV without an Omi for a literal year. Please get over that nose-up expectation that you can win GAC matches by just slapping LV with his DC on the front wall with stupid evasion and CD reduction and get back to using LV on offense, as the majority of the player base did.
Traya's job is literally to beat teams that either attack out of turn or are debuff heavy/reliant, and her Omi was advertised as increasing the utility against the later. She is currently the 8th most common Omi with 64853 players having invested what costs $100 if it's bought from packs in Omicrons, all applied in just the last month. Your GL was made for offense and is a year old. Why would you propose a nerf and a waste of an extremely scarce resource for those 64,000 players who invested in something new?
I mean, if you're making the argument based off $ investment and people feeling ripped off, I'd counterpoint with the LVdercron period being CG's attempt at making good their historic inability to balance LV in the game. You're talking a $100 omicron? What's the price tag of LV and the people that bought him feeling ripped off? And I'm not even saying that's a good argument, so much as the $ comparison really doesn't stand up.
@Ultra offmeta counters are a team of 5 farmed toons usually having the esoteric happenstance of countering a GL requiring a specific comp and modding. I am fine with off meta counters. I am not fine with 1-instant-negate omicrons, and that does include Wampa and Savage versus SEE.
In the case of Wampa and Savage versus SEE, I was really hoping that SEE would be the unfortunate lone victim GL that just got continuously mistreated. He is after all about the easiest GL to get. Now that they've spread it to the arguably hardest most expensive GL = a bad trend.
