See that's reasonable! Nobody's denying that that could be helpful. The focus that I think we need to have with any potential changes, though, is that Vader's kit exists to stall and refresh between culling blades. Crit immunity on critical hits is a way to do that. A small %heal on debuffs is another, and one that makes up for not having EP lead once you Zeta Vader's lead.
But for some reason instead of asking for these sorts of changes everyone just shouts "NEEDS MAJOR OVERHAUL" when Vader is a really cool, very useful, and super deadly toon when used right as it is.
@BrianBuchanans I am a very reasonable guy. Put his attack to somewhere near 2200 at g9, give him crit down on his aoe and crit immunity on a crit by him and voila he won't be the most bad@$$ toon out there but a viable option to this wiggsdo meta. Put the right pieces around him and it can compete in the arena. Not saying it would go to #1 but top 50 isn't unreasonable. Besides a year and 3 months? Into the game and players are just now unlocking 7* on him. He should be sort of op on his own for the work needed to put in to aquire him at his best.
I agree that Vader needs to be a competitive toon. I don't think damage boost is what he needs though. Assuming they don't boost Vader's speed to oblivion, the squad just needs to survive Wiggs salvo #1. After that, it's about control. You can neuter Wiggs with Vader's ability block already; instead of boosting damage, make it land 100% of the time against Rebels as well as Jedi.
Yes, he should be powerful. No, he shouldn't be OP. That makes for bad game mechanics.
His ability block is single target. You need it on a aoe. Because that's when wiggsdo still kills you
