Most people dont want to participate in those tournaments...Its time consuming and the effort you put into it is ridiculous! I played the Jin a little bit and got to rank 34. Guess what Rank I am after only 30 Minutes....366! This is a joke. It is impossible for people that have a normal life, family and work to achieve anything. You get teased with those shards only to not be able to unlock your heroes, because the requirment (beeing at least rank 100) is nearly impossible. I cant sit on my phone for 24 hours straight. This Tournament is in my opinion the worst thing I have ever played in any mobile game. I know that "normal people" that play for fun do not get taken care of, but for the love of this game and the community: Remove the Tournaments and get something better. I am not the first and definetly not the last one who will complain about it.
