Can we PLEASE get the option to turn off autofill on squad selection!!?

With the number of game modes where you may want less than a full team, and considering several teams or characters are MADE to work with less than a full squad, and considering the scenarios where you may need to restart over and over, can we please do away with the auto fill? Especially where it just randomly populates the team? Who is ever leaving it like that? It's just an extra step.
