I'd like to start out by saying Thank you to CG for listening and making this change on tournaments for 4* characters. For those who might not know what i'm talking about, I'm referring to the picture below.

So now, even for a 4* unlock character like Jyn, you can fully unlock her by getting to 100th place or higher. This was a noticeable flaw in the previous tournament for Vader's TIE, where, since it is a 4* unlock, you had to score 25th or higher to even unlock it.
All of that being said, this was probably the worst time to make this change, and i'll tell you why. For those who bought the Rogue One pack, they already have Jyn unlocked, instead of getting 60 shards for placing in the 100-26 range, they only get 42. What's even worse is that after the tournament has ended and people have unlocked her from it, they can then buy the Rogue One pack and get 80 shards for her instead and come out quite a ways ahead of those who bought the pack already not expecting this unannounced change.
Let me pose an example to make sure the point i'm trying to make is somewhat clearer.
Let's take 2 people, person A and person B.
Person A bought the Rogue One pack the day it was released and already has Jyn unlocked. They then proceed to place 24th in the tournament, thus earning the 25-11 reward and get 30 shards+the unlock, which for them turns into 32 shards.
They end up with a 4* Jyn 3 shards short of getting to 5*.
Person B hasn't bought the Rogue One pack yet and thus don't have Jyn unlocked. They then go on to place 75th in the tournament and get the Unlock for Jyn+10 shards. After this they then proceed to buy the Rogue One pack and get 80 shards for Jyn, giving them enough to get to 5*.
They end up with a 5* Jyn with 25/85 towards getting her to 6*
Despite them both winding up buying the pack, the one who placed lower will have the more powerful character.
This really doesn't seem right, but it is.
