At first I thought you were talking about the description for what the raid box is....
IIRC all previous tournaments for characters awarded the full character + 10 shards for the 26 - 100 range, the difference being that the rest were less than 4stars.I agree it kind of sucks for people who have already bought the rogue 1 pack, they will now be receiving less shards for Jyn since it is a full character and not just the amount of shards to activate the character (90 total shards for 26 - 100 with no rogue 1 purchase vs 42 total shards for 26 - 100 if already purchased rogue 1 pack).
There really is no incentive to get from top 100 to top 25, in previous tournaments those extra 20 shards would allow you to 4 star the character vs 3 star, but since Jyn already unlocks at 4 star, they are rather pointless
