Marvel wars was fully born today. detailless garbage that makes 0 sense but people applaud it because its got cool action and connection to lore that was cool. they just destroyed the prequels and clone wars within a couple lines. kill the child and end the show. the child being on coruscant being trained by jedi during the clone wars is so laughable. grootgoku was the worst name ever.
Care to explain?
The episode made total sense to me and basically tied prequels, rebels and clone wars together with many more possible plots (thrawn, ezra, luke, sabine, bo katan, mof gideon etc) after this episode Star Wars can finaly go in different directions again with characters we know and like. I think its the best that happenes since a long time- NotRealUltraSeasoned Newcomer

Someone else told me that the Ahsoka episode was going to be a backdoor pilot for a Ahsoka spinoff series, and the way this episode ended, it did look like a backdoor pilot episode
Loved finally learning the child’s name and loved that Ahsoka is still looking for Grand Admiral Thrawn — Ezra and Sabine in season 3? Yes please!
I think they'll greenlit a series starring Ahsoka finding Thrawn, and that plotline won't be part of mando season 3 - WitcherZireaelNew SpectatorAhsoka sent mando to tython. in canon, this is the planet where je'daii's lives in 36.000 years ago. we can consider je'daii as ancient jedi(and the sith same time). do you guys think we are going to see those things? at least a teaser?
*sorry for my bad english btw lol* - Iy4oy4sNew NoviceI liked the episode overall, but that fight at the end between Ahsoka and the magistrate was lame...Ashoka should have bested that fight quickly...it made her seem weak. Just think back to the Maul, Ahsoka duel at the end of the clone wars. That’s my only grip.
Also Thrawn! - The cameos were great but Ahsoka and grand admiral thrawn deserve their own show for future stories involving these two. They deserve better than being a side story in the mandolorian.

As Ashoka said that a Jedi will come for Grogu in Thyton. And i think it will be Luke Skywalker.
Yeah has to be.
We know Mandalorian takes place right before the sequels, and in the sequels Luke is the last jedi alive, so it has to be him- Of course the jedi that seeks the child at the temple could also just be a force ghost like yoda or something
- I thought the episode was brilliant. The portrayal of Ahsoka was outstanding. I was "uneasy" about them trying to pull off her character - but Rosario Dawson, the writers and the cinematography absolutely nailed it. The reason (and the way she explains it) for her reluctance to train him...goosebumps.
I agree with those that think this was a setup for a spin off. There's simply too much good story now for them not to. "LordDunbar;c-2197129" wrote:

The Mandalorian takes place 3-4 years after empire. That puts it about 25 years before the sequels. Right about the time Luke is starting his Jedi academy I believe.- 1. She did say that “she” could not train him. That’s easy to understand. She’s not a Jedi. She never promoted beyond Padawan. She never trained anyone. She doesn’t believe in the Jedi way. She watched as her favorite person in the world turned dark because of his attachments and then killed her.
2. She sent them on the journey so that Grogu could decide on his own whether he wanted to be trained. Sending him to Luke takes away that choice.
3. Mando was useful to her to rescue the civilians
4. The fighting was fine. Was the “empire lady” force sensitive? I got that impression. Also, there have been plenty of non-force users that held their own against Jedi and Sith.
5. She’s intentionally trying to not kill the lady, which is way different than trying to slaughter Maul. As I said before, the fighting was fine. Nothing spectacular, but good enough.
