With how much of a stickler Din is with beskar I don't think he would have allowed Boba to keep the armor unless he considers him a Mando by birthright- Bill Burr’s back, baby!
- Every article I've found calls Boba a foundling like his father based on birthright. This could be people jumping to conclusions, but I don't believe they would have included the chain code scene unless they were meaning to confirm that both the Fetts are Mandalorians.

maybe he just said that to calm Mando down .... but as it seems his armor is made out of Beskar and not durasteele.
But the genealogy hologram in his suit is proof of Jango being a foundling.
