Unfortunately, most SW fans, including die hard fans, have not watched Rebels. And that was one episode out of many, so even those that have watched it may not remember or haven’t watched that particular episode.

That’s a long way of explaining that they would have to do a ton of work to explain what it was and how it suddenly appeared in this show. It would be difficult to pull off well.

I dont think anything being obscure is really going to hold them back in this show. they seem to have enough freedom to introduce something like that, and the general skills to tie it all together. who knows if they will, I just dont think this "excuse" will be the reason it doesn't get brought in.
