Marker for new entries in a chat

Hi, i have a few direkt chats and it would be very helpful for me to see, in the chat board, that there are new entries in one of these chat. Like in Discord or every mail client.

Maybe with a sign or color.

I‘m not sure that this is the first wish for that. I searched but didn‘t find anything.
