Marquee events are the best case scenario. We get free toons and get to test out their kits, but players with money (deservedly) get their head start. Its much better than the aurodium release model which was no good for ftp.
Way better than aurodium and tournaments imo. They cant please everyone, but in think this is the best way so far.
Tournaments were great actually, most competetive PvP this game ever had.
Tournaments in the form they had them were not competitive and a lot of people did not like them which is why they were scrapped.
