Maurador Drop Chance

I've done all refreshes of 50, 100, and 200 every day of the event and I'm currently sitting at 242 total. With one more day of those refreshes, I am still not going to hit 330. Yet people are getting 60 to 100 a day while on a ls ticket farm.

Come on @CG_Tusken_Meathead at least acknowledge that there is a difference!

Not disputing this but wouldn't a 100 energy spent on a 20 enegry hard node give 5 potential max shards whereas a 10 energy node could potentially give 10 shards? Is that how it works or am I mistaken?
I've been avoiding hard nodes during these chases just for that reason and it'd be nice to continue those farms during chases.

Drop rate is not per sim, but per energy.

I farm shards all the time. Only reason I won't 7* this one is cause i forgot I need to do the 200's untill it was too late

If you are doing GL tickets, you only need to do the 50 refreshes for 7 star.

This tracks with a 3% energy droprate. If you are devoting all free energy to light side battles too, you'd need around 78 refreshes over the 7 days, and the refreshing up to 200 is only 9 refreshes per day (63 total).

I'm working out that players would average 277 shards over the event if they did all the 200 crystal refreshes every day. Happy for the maths to be double checked though.

(240 x 7) + (63 x 120) = 9,240 energy
9,240 x 0.03 = 277.2 shards.

If those in the GL ticket farm are double dipping, they would still need to do the 100 crystal refreshes everyday for most of the chase.

78 refreshes ÷ 2 = 39
39 ÷ 7 = 5.6 refreshes per day.

Light side nodes 10/6-10/12, not sure where you are but they’re not available in the US yet.

Doesn’t feel entirely good having half the drop rate as everyone else for the chase just because I’m not farming lightside tickets for a GL. But if that is working as intended I’m sure there’s a reason for that.

I don't remember them saying it works as intended.

I remember them denying it was happening.

I could be wrong, and I can't find where they said WAI.

It's definitely weird that you somehow get a bonus for working on a specific unrelated task.
