There is no skill involved in swgoh, it's not an turned based tactical game like civilization nor is it a racing game, sport, fps where it takes personal skill, anyone with a mediocre IQ and 1 hand and 1 eye can do all these battles.

I see posts on the forums every day that imply the exact opposite.

i bet you have to plan every move carefully with your r7 geos...
if you have this kind of gp and so much money invested you have the mods to back it up if you are not braindead so i doubt any of your geos has like a +50 speed max

I did actually have to plan the CM with my geos. I lost my soldier in stage 2, due to some unlucky rng. Brute lost his taunt for 1 turn. From there, it took an additional 20 minutes to beat the last 2 stages. If I had made even the smallest error, I would have gone 2/4. For the record I lost soldier, brute 3x and the battle droid.

Everyone bring up SLKR, either don’t have him or read his kit. It’s easy to not go 4/4 with SLKR, because all your other toons become wet noodles by time stage 4 rolls around. You have to time his ultimate correctly.

Next you need to do the math, our gp didn’t get us to 33 stars. Our gp wasn’t much higher than in the last Geo dstb. Where we improved, we dropped less stages. Because deployments aren’t we’re you get the most points. Only by having enough people go 3/4 or 4/4 do you get enough points.

I would also like to point out, that if you get enough instances of armor shred on anyone of your toons, even the beefiest toons die easily. If you’re not landing ability block, you’re going to get shredded. Considering ability block isn’t automatic, that allows enough rng in there to mess up even the strongest teams.

As far as the tw, you’d have to ask TI or CAW, if it was boring. Winning is exciting, so I’m not bored. Also, the top guilds always add new wrinkles to old teams, to make things more exciting. CAW is very good at that.

To your statement about there are a 100 guilds that could have done it with enough gp, well that’s just a blatant exaggeration. Trust me, there isn’t. There aren’t 100 guilds with 50 people that have the dedication to this game. Not mention to move mods before every cm or sm, platoon your best toons, or follow directions. There are even fewer guilds with the officers willing to give up their time to point everyone in the right direction. That’s all they can do. They can’t fight the battles for you. They can’t write out directions for every contingency. There is way too much rng in this game, for that.

As far as TI getting 33 stars, the title says “First guild to earn 33 stars”, not who topped the leaderboard. Which is decided by gp. TI brought in people from CAW Patrol, to help them get 33 stars. Which is cool, but it gave them a higher gp than us (372m to 369m).

You should listen to Mandalore’s video a little more closely. Listen to what he says about his SE team(5:24). I’m jealous of his geo run, it was much simpler than mine.

Lastly it would be arrogant of me to say money didn’t play a role. It did, it gave the resources to win in this game. It did not however win for me. Money like good officers will only get you so far. After that it’s on you, to have the experience, knowledge and skill to win. I could give my account to someone with a third of my gp and they most likely won’t win. There are some that will shine, most won’t.

I think there are 2 skills involved, farming choices and understanding mechanics. Most everyone fails at one or both often.

I’m not sure why MAW feels the need to mention that they didn’t move players before TB as if it’s a badge of honor or an impressive feat but it’s not

Hoth Ski Patrol managed 33* on DS GEO 1 month ago. They were first who manage it.. So congratulation for the second guild who managed max stars..
