I think personally if all these R8 toons are gonna be required for everything going forward then they need to give out some more R8 mats with other game modes. Galactic Challenges seem like a good place to put some. It'll also help with smaller GP guilds that can't do challenge rancor yet. Otherwise you are stopping them from ever being able to get better.
