Oh the horror! They're a business? If it bugs you that much, don't play. No one is forcing you to spend money. If you can't get Commander Luke, I genuinely feel bad for you. But for pete's sake. Get some perspective.
Maybe it takes a phone game to teach people these days some serious life lessons: patience, economics, etc.
The only thing it should teach you is to not waste money on mobile games, which are just unregulated gambling where publishers have absolutely no qualms with these anti-consumer practices that wouldn't be tolerated in any other industry
