- Let me get this straight... How the hell does CG define a Meta team ? When it is ever changing every month?
I spent money on this to get ahead. We all spent resources to get ahead, chasing that "Meta" team. Now this whatever cron is here to mess it up?
So if I am reading this right. A R5 SE team without this trash can / may lose to a phoenix R5 team with that cron thing? Because CG don't do testing and we need to test it for u in GAC / TW.
Lastly, why should anyone spend on this game? When this thing moves it ard every month! - I expected this road ahead to include updates about the gear promises, to compensate for the datacron debacle. But no. Nothing good.
- Also for a June road ahead, this is lacking everything that the player base wants. This is just a monthly update. So if CG really want to keep the Player base, CG better work on a version 2.0, for this is the 2nd trash road ahead apart from that trash art appreciation garbage when rey is released
Oh where is the art for this cron? So wanted to know how the designers did it - Thanks for nothing CG guess I'm just going sandbag in GAC now. Sorry to anyone with less GL's than me in GAC. This isn't fun, cool or helpful. WE NEED GEAR not more new things to grind for.
- Can we fix relic/gear grind before we pile on? This feels more like a chorus and less like fun.
- So my question is simply why? Nothing in this post told players why they should be excited for this new feature. What is there for players to look forward to? A road ahead that addressed concerns over rampant GAC/TW cheating, an update on your post about gear - those 2 things would've satisfied many but instead we get yet another currency to manage.
- awfully short road ahead. Is CG only planning for SWGOH to be functioning only a couple months into the future with each of these now? Road Ahead used to look toward the future but now it seems like CG is only planning a month or two into the future max.
Now, as for Datacrons.....why? I mean I can't count the issues here nor hope to cover all of them but I'll try to get the standouts:
1- You want to "break up the meta" so the first set of datacrons BOOSTS the current meta......um....what?
2- Limited rerolls. After 5 years playing and experiencing your in-game RNG with mods, consider me wholly skeptical about how good the RNG will be with rolling datacrons.
3- Temporary nature. These things are late, late game targeted. For newer players, they could build a team up only to have its effectiveness neutered in a month. Which is rough. It's rough for late game players too. Especially what goes into my fourth issue- relic requirements for effectiveness.
4- Increasing relic investment requirements for keeping up with the meta with no further gear crunch relief. In the first part of phase 1 gear adjustment, CG severely strangled us on Carbantis and never followed up or through with the 2nd part of phase 1 and have seemingly abandoned the gear relief effort altogether. If Relics are the new gear, then the old gear needs to be more ubiquitous. Especially kyros which are draining with every new character needing more and more and more of them.
5- You opted to choose 2 of the strongest factions in the game to get further boosted while boasting about breaking up the meta....have you all not seen what TWs and GACs look like lately? full of GR & CLS-Rebels :joy:
Overall this is just...oof. Awful. - Are we gonna get any actual quality of life updates in the road ahead?

all 3 LS GLs will be getting boosts by these datacrons.- So as I read it datacrons won't need regular gear now? I think that was the major negative. So 'wait and see' I think.
