Right or wrong, they have to pick and choose what to listen to. While the message here seems negative for the most part, realize that most of the people that are ok with the changes are playing, not in here posting, so will appear potentially more skewed. Even among the concerns people are posting, you get a lot of conflicting wants, at a granular level.

Whether I agree/like the changes, or not, one thing I am sure of, devs have a tough job, trying to balance all of these inputs, plus corporate mandates.

That being said, I respect your right to be upset, and people need to keep giving feedback.

There is no logical basis for statements like these. Realistically the majority of the audience would be voiceless children, who will just stop playing, rather than hit forums. This 90% positive stuff is nonsense. And that is before you consider that EA has already been caught rather often writing fake reviews and or paying reviewers for positive coverage, and blacklisting those who don't.

The game is a giant PITA now. It takes forever to do the same thing as yesterday, but you dont get any bonus rewards.

This protection thing, I'm trying get to get used to it from a positive light, and I know it's only been one day but I can tell you that it's not something I enjoy, it makes the game play really dull, no excitement at all. I know I won't like it no matter how much time I give it.
I understand what the devs are trying to do but, imo, this isn't the change we need.
Edit: I'm not complaining because I'm losing battles, I went 7 - 1 since yesterday's update.

Also, an EP doesn't hop on to justify changes when the response has been mostly positive.

I also agree. I also agree with many in the forums about the challenges. They are way too hard. Yesterday morning I could do the highest tier. With my team it wasn't overly hard but it wasn't easy either. Now I have to go down a Tier for each event. So now I am no longer getting any gear that I need. So I can't upgrade my characters gear. Now I am grinding on the Light/Dark side and many of the battles that I need to do are locked and I can't get to that gear either. It just sucks. They should have updated the game in small increments. Everyone at work who plays the game is upset and talking about deleting the app. I agree with the game needed some updates but I just think you didn't think creatively enough and screwed up a lot of the game. Didn't kill the game for me but your pretty close. If it stays as a grind I will find a more entertaining game to play. I'm here to have fun and not grind my entire day away on an app on my phone. Becoming not worth it to play anymore, because I really enjoyed this game until the update. Hopefully EA will listen to the fans and can the current director. I would of never released this update without testing it with fans. Honestly not a good move.

GW is still beatable but protection makes it take too long to complete.
