Metal & Malice achievement question

I just noticed the metal and malice achievement. It states we get 100 crystals and 500k credits for completing tier 1 Of Defense Of Dathomir ten times! If that is completed does a second achievement open up for beating tier 2 ten times? If not, then why is that achievement trying to make people lose out on extra shards they get by doing tier 2 as opposed to tier 1????

    It doesn’t. You are probably confusing the two NS events. This is for the Talzin one. The second tier is the one you need 7* for before you can even try it. I believe the attempts are independent on that but I’m not certain.

    Nope. That's just the only way anyone would have hit 10 runs of the event by now.

    Which doesn’t really matter to the OP’s question because he has the two events confused.

    Metal and Malice achievement is for the Defense of Dathomir event. Tier I gives Talzin shards. Bonus tier isn’t available unless you have Talzin at 7* and it gives Zetas, not shards. No way to know at this point if the achievement for tier I completions goes beyond 10 as it’s not possible to have completed it 10 times yet.
