Mk5 stun gun salvage gear crunch

Is there anyone else out there that has been playing this game faithfully for the past 3-5 years ever look at the amount of mk5 stun gun requirements needed to upgrade their roster and just shake their head in disbelief or is it really just me!! Am I the only one still wondering if they're ever gonna fix the overwhelming gear crunch or does CG seriously think they did fixed it and I'm just not seeing it??
