Mod calibration is free and unnecessary at this point. Use it and enjoy the times it helps and don’t care about the times it doesn’t. Mods you are likely calibrating are beyond good enough in pve modes and unlikely to make a bit of difference in pvp because of datacrons.
Free, yes.
Unnecessary, I guess if you don't care about your mods.
I stand by statement. Mods are almost pointless in the dc era in pvp. Do I still work them? of course I do. It’ll change when dodge goes away but right now dodge % is far more determinative than mods.
I guess it depends of your level of play. It may be the case in the upper level where you might be, but where i stand (top k2-bottom k1), i don’t remember having a match where dodge % was decisive.
I’m similar to you. Tvf is slightly higher than both of us. I find the reverse statement just as true. Since the introduction of dcs, mods has been decidedly less important. First it was those with 300%+ hs vaders. Now it’s emp cooldown + high dodge dcs. Next month something else will get added. I don’t have great mods but not bad mods either and I’ve found my advantage or disadvantage in mods (25.76 top 25, 16.05 top 500) to not at all be a predictable measure of matches. However, I also don’t put much effort into gac so I concede that’s likely the most important factor.
