Mods are unbalanced (speed secondaries were not nerfed) with video (Poe with 256 speed)

In this case, you just accept that if your droid/EP team is not faster, you do not stand a good chance to beat the other guy. This is self-balancing. When everyone runs Poe (with EP)... some people with the slower Poe/EP teams will abandon their losing strategy and run droids or Rex.

Despite having the slowest Poe/EP team, you are still going to crush a ton of other teams. If not on your shard, then ur in an oversaturated market.

EP is extra evil because when he goes first he can end the enemy with a single AOE. He's your double-edged sword. You said your EP wasn't OP, though, so have fun with the bed you chose. If there aren't enough other teams for you to beat, you need to outspeed the opponents or start farming a new team. And if ur in an oversaturated market, the latter is the better bet.

Yes, but back in the day, when you realized poe was becoming the new meta, you could gear him out to get 143 speed and 4 star him (all you needed back then) and BAM you can compete.

Now it takes weeks, if not months to develop a new team. Want to switch it up to droids? Cool, now you must have HK47 IG88 IG86 seven starred, max geared and modded before they can hold their own in arena.

And by that time, the new squad you're developing could be old news.

Yup. Pretty much spot on. I think a lot of people that dont run rex and fac will eventually need a second team. No different on my end. I run droids but use a dooku team almost daily to beat rex lead. That is a lot of max gear toons I use. And I still avoid most other droids. I may need to work on a harder count for droids, too, because the speed race is rough... I checked out of that race over a month ago.

All the guys that call yoda a counter... ur still in the speed race. Last I checked, yoda only has like 10 points on poe...if u want out of the speed race, diversifying your roster is a long road but has a higher lvl of certainty than playing mod lottery.
