1st - I agree mods need to be tweaked. There needs to be a 4 way balance between *, level, mod, and gear. Right now over half a toons power is the mod. Should be a bit less than 1/4. So reduce to 10% is about right.
2nd - Everyone said level 80 killed the game, then protection killed the game, now mods killed the game. Get over yourselves. 90% of the player base is not quitting. My guild has 4 considering leaving out of 48. That's 8% not 90%.
3rd - If reduced to a reasonable boost, I love the idea of mods, and so should everyone else. Everyone constantly whines about top teams all being the same. Well now we can have different incarnations. Nobody is discussing the accuracy stat which possibly fixes the Old Ben/Dooku dodge meta. You can have higher HP or protection on RG, maybe Maul with speed boost is viable, who knows? You were wrong about protection, let's see if they can fix mods.
