Most flexible Non GL R8 choices?

So I’m interested in peoples thoughts on the most flexible high value R8 choices!
EXCLUDING Galactic Legends or any of their requirements……

My suggestions are based around RoTE phase and usefulness in TW/GAC
LIGHTSIDE
JKA, Ahsoka (Jedi/GR/Pilots dual tags ) maybe Plo but not convinced he’s worth it!
KAM (Jedi/GR)
CAT (Scoundrel/GR and UFU)
Kyle (Jedi/Rebel)
R2D2 (lots of tags)

NEUTRAL/SCOUNDRELS/SMUGGLERS)
Chewie (Scoundrel/Rebel/Smuggler/Pilot)
Cad Bane, Embo (BH, HC, Scoundrel)
Jango Fett (BH, Sep, Mando, Scoundrel)
Sana (Newer kit, Scoundrel, Smuggler and Rebel synergy)

DARKSIDE
Sith Marauder - (Sith/SEmpire/Pilot) + High damage
Darth Vader - (Sith, Empire, Pilot) + extra speed on ship is very useful.
Sith Trooper - Sith and FO + very high damage.
Then probably characters like Fennec and GG??

My current targets are Embo, GG, Chewie, Ahsoka and JKA

    Not to be that guy but quite a few of the characters you’ve listed in your non-GL requirements are actually GL requirements…

    I meant not characters that are not already R8 pre-reqs….if they R6/7 pre-reqs or whatever then clearly they aren’t R8 yet….
    My fault for not being clear .

    Whichever one has a datacron since that's all that matters these days. CG only wants to make datacron characters worthwhile so we'll make our entire roster R8.

    Yes, they're still flaming hot garbage in a dumpster on fire in a landfill on fire. You're still making them with excessive stats and ridiculous abilities and they're still making an entire roster, even R8 and R9 characters, USELESS because datacrons on any character can pretty much make them invincible.

    Other than that, I'd go Starkiller and Aphra.

    Piett, GK, GG best non-gl's to take to R8 imo. Not sure Tark is on the same level.
