Indeed it was. I've played MV and its expansion + Ida's Dream level to completion a lot of times, and every time I get a new device, I make sure to complete it again. :) I love sharing the phone with friends and see their faces when they play it.

Back on topic: I haven't spend much, considering USD are really, REALLY hard to get and really, REALLY expensive in my country, unless you're a freelancer who can earn a real currency for their hard time work. Just so you make an idea, considering what I've spend on this game, while isn't much, ~$100, it could've easily mean two months of descent living, or one month of living relatively good.

Compared with what I get instead in game (nothing, just "more" game time), is a bit of a nonsense. Trying to avoid purchases at all costs lately. Moves like this help a lot at least.

This move felt really, really cheap to me. It's left a bad taste in my mouth. Where I otherwise would be excited to spend more money on a game I've been really enjoying, this has taken the wind outta my sails and makes me want to think twice about giving them another cent of mine.

this game is kike a used car salesman nickel and diming you to death. they need to take a page out of Hearthstones playbook

Also with a new shard exchange coming you could potentially stockpile shares for a toon you already have at seven stars. For that purpose I think the change is justified.

I'm not saying your wrong for feeling the way you do. I do feel sorry you got an unwanted prostate exam. Unfortunately when items requiring currency is bugged CG is going to take the easiest least consumer friendly way to fix it.

I'll put this out here for future concern The Shard Shop will use a crystal refresh system too. The signs point to it.

Just noticed this, being able to quickly get 15 shards a day for your toon was my favorite aspect on this!

I'll have to reluctantly agree to not spend another penny either, this is ridiculous.

if this game wasn't called "star wars", it would not be where it's at today, and they profit from us in any way shape or form because of it.

it's a shame... look at Clash of Clans, they make so much money, yet don't cheap out on their players like this game does.

This is a business and if the business doesn't do well they may decide that 70% margins aren't high enough to keep the doors open.

That is the worst business model you use, yes it might get the numbers to look nice here and now, but that model usually goes to people spending there money somewere else, classic business 101 on how not to run a business, when there are others that can provide a similar product
