I've been disliking the new raids since they came out, starting with Krayt Dragon. I appreciate the new raids and think it's interesting to slim down our attempts by limiting which characters are used, but i also dread the raids every time they launch. The first one or two weeks are great, but after that I see a raid launch, roll my eyes, and think about when I can find the time to put in the effort. The only reasons to try the battles again are for better scores, which requires some rng, or for trying out new teams.
The past few years the game has been adding a lot of content, and only about half of it can be SIMmed or effectively auto'd. No point in getting a 3* rank in something only to find I have to manually play it every time it comes around. Some of the worst offenders, for me, include the Ultimate Journey Event (which comes after conquests) and, what I've named, Struggler's Run II. I still haven't beaten SLKR's even at 1 star, so I don't even attempt that one anymore. The latter of which I can consistently win and have 3 starred, but since I can't SIM or auto it, the event takes 30 minutes out of my day when it comes around as I have to manually play.
While I'd like more things to be SIMmed, since that feature already exists, I think raid-wise that would also be something to have CG consider. Allow SIMming the raid under the conditions that (1) you use your previous score and (2) once you have submitted a battle score, for better or worse, even if using a same team, you cannot SIM for this iteration and must do all the battles.
