Need to sort out Turn, Attack, Assist, Bonus Attack and Counter Attack definitions and effect...

It seems to me that there are various conflicts in the way attacks and their effects are handled. For example, Advantage is determined used based on an "attack", no matter if it is in the form of an assist, counter, normal, etc. Foresight is used on one attack, but it will evade both an attack and its assist, but not an attack with a bonus attack like Dooku or Leia. DoT's only work on a turn by turn basis, but if a player suffers such a hit, shouldn't it affect each movement a player makes during a turn? RG taunts for a turn, but it appears that turn means a full TM gain, other effects don't behave the same way.

It just seems like there are too many ways 'turns' are counted and they all don't work well or make sense together, or am I the only one who thinks this?
