You're 100% correct there; this post isn't a disguised "make clones better" gripe, and I totally understand that clones perform better in PvE than PVP. My point was to illustrate the disparity in power level, as well as a direct response to Darth Krataa when he suggested using a clone build earlier in the thread.
Obviously there are some teams that should perform better than others, and I have no problem with rebels being a strong choice. I take issue with them largely being the only choice. Simply put, it is, in no way, shape or form, balanced game play when one specific build is used by the vast majority of players. I'm not exaggerating when I say they account for close to 95% of the top 50 arena on my server.
